So, it’s not that I haven’t been “shopping” at my mom’s closet before, it’s just it was just a few pieces by now. This, oh this was a big “shopping spree” :). I decided to check what she has from a while back and let me tell you something… I found some quite nice pieces.
Some of the pieces I plan on wearing as they are, and some will get a make-over for sure. It’s so surprising how pieces that were on trend 20 years ago, can be worn today and are totally on trend.
I am sure you are all familiar with the SS 2015 trends. It will be all about the boho-romantic looks, the famous “gingham” which is a pattern that I really like. Then you have suede (I am so excited about this trend!), all DENIM everything, floral prints. And don’t you dare put those crop tops and other midriff baring pieces away, because they will be so on trend this season! And last but not least, my very own, personal favorite THE FRINGE! I looove fringe, it reminds me of the 20’s flapper girl and I am all about the 20’s fashion.
Giving you my new vintage pieces 🙂
A delicate flower embroidery shirt (great for a boho look)
A nude color dress with interesting details (I will need to cinch it a bit before I wear it though)
A shirt dress (it will also need some reshaping)
A shirt with a interesting print
A peplum silk shirt (you can’t really see the peplum part here)
It might look like a skirt… but these are actually pants
A high-waist skirt
Dresses that are so work appropriate
I am actually thinking of making this skirt shorter
A high-waist velvet skirt
A high-waist suede skirt
A high-waist pleated skirt (for that 50’s inspired style)
I am not sure should I cinch these pants or make them into shorts
I really like the patterns of these shirts
Do you guys like finding and wearing great vintage pieces? I know I do 🙂
