And that’s a wrap! The Oscars finally happened, I have been waiting for them so impatiently. And yes, yes, I wanted to see who will get the oh-so-desired golden statue but if I am perfectly honest, I was most excited for the glamorous gowns on the red carpet (weren’t we all?! :)).
The red carpet was filled with breathtaking dresses, I was impressed. And on that note I will share only my favorite looks from the night. I mean… Lady Gaga made it to my “best dressed” list, so… enough said :).
Enjoy my picks…

Karl Lagerfeld delivered it once again… outside of the runway.
It’s barely 5 minutes long and it’s still a masterpiece. Enjoy this wonderful short film.
The 2014 award season has officially started with last night’s Golden Globe Awards. There were some winners and some losers and of course I am talking about the red carpet, not the actual awards :). I decided to share with you the red carpet looks that were my favorites. But first, I really don’t get why Jennifer Lawrence is getting all the hate about that Dior dress! Personally, I think it’s a great dress. The gorgeous, delicate white, with the pop of black to make it a bit edgier… what’s not to like there (ok, maybe the fit just a bit, but all in all love it)?! So yes, it’s one of my absolute favorites.

Are you ready for a new Karl Lagerfeld masterpiece? Some time ago, I shared one of his short films about Coco Chanel, “Once Upon a Time” which debuted last May in Singapore. In this short film Karl Lagerfeld explored Gabrielle Chanel’s early days in Deauville.
“The Return” will premiere in Dallas on Tuesday December 10th ahead of the Paris-Dallas 2013/14 Métiers d’Art show taking place in Dallas Fair Park . This new film retraces her steps as she re-opens her couture house in 1954. Karl Lagerfeld assembled a cast of celebrities to recount the revival of the House of CHANEL in 1954.
The Return features Geraldine Chaplin in the role of Gabrielle Chanel alongside Rupert Everett, Anna Mouglalis, Lady Amanda Harlech, Arielle Dombasle and Kati Nescher as well as Vincent Darré and Sam McKnight.
